Tapered Board Insulation
It is now possible to expand the life of your roof and add long-term thermal resistance (R-Value) with the same product. GBR Corp. offers custom-tapered insulation designs to achieve the most economical and efficient drainage plan for your building. Tapered insulation is used in low slope roofing to achieve positive drainage, which increases the lifespan of your roof. Tapered insulation is available in 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" per foot slopes.
Green Roofing
GBR Corp. offers installation of garden roofing, whereby vegetation takes the place of more traditional roofing surfaces. As a result, the building helps to reduce the heat-island effect in cities and suburbs, increases green space and reduces rainwater discharge, and the erosion it causes.
Energy Star Roofing
A white single-ply membrane is a way of enhancing energy savings during the cooling season, by reflecting sunlight and keeping the membrane cool. White membranes, also installed by GBR Corp., are rated with solar-reflectance and thermal-emittance values consistent with the Energy Star and Cool Roof Rating Council programs.

Both green roofing and single-ply white membrane roofing can be used to earn points in the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system for green building.
